Nilanjan Das, is undoubtedly one of the peerless Indian artists who has made the biggest impression as an enigmatic creator, admired for his vivid naturalism and his mastery over contemporary yet classical style of art. Pioneering his expressive collection in ‘Savage Beauty’, the artworks are not just surreal but reveals extreme eloquism.

Backed with the experience of having been one of India’s sterling illustrators, his creative bent of mind has been superlative, to say the least. He has a vast experience of working with celebrated names in the domain of Indian design, illustration and publications.

Nilanjan is presently settled as the Group Creative Editor of the India Today Group. His earlier assignments were with Time Magazine as a Deputy Art Director (Asia and Europe) and Group Creative Director for Fortune India.

Nilanjan’s extra-ordinary creative capabilities and brilliantly sharp mind have earned him quite a number of prestigious awards. He won the Society of Publication Designer merit award for Illustration in New York for consecutive years from 2010-2014. He also bagged the IFRA International Graphic Award for Info graphics from 2005 to 2021. In 2008 he got the SOPA Best Design Award of the Year. He won two silvers and one gold in IFRA International Graphic Award for Infographics for his brilliant work in India Today Magazine. Nilanjan has a shining record of participation in solo and group exhibitions.
